Canadian Beauty has been performing Grateful Dead tribute shows since 2005. A group of skilled improvisers, they have always chosen to focus on the Dead's ethos rather than note-for-note readings. Expect plenty of improvisation, folky roots-country, and plenty of harmony singing with a focus on the Dead's late 60's through mid-70's repertoire!
And occasionally Canadian Beauty shows in the past have included songs by Bob Dylan, The Band, Neil Young and The Allman Brothers Band. More recently Neil Young tributes have been performed under the name Ragged Glory and Bob Dylan tributes under the name Two Bobs and a Mule.
And the band's history goes even farther back to 1997 when Chris and Lucky were doing original tunes in the band Lift. They then started branching out to doing Dead tributes on special occasions like New Year's Eve.
